We want you to enjoy your outdoor & camping dinnerware for as long as possible. Here are some helpful tips for making sure your products stay in great condition:
- Wash your dinnerware before using it for the first time.
- Avoid using anything abrasive, like scouring pads, to clean your product. These can scratch the finish.
- To remove tea and coffee stains, try these tips:
Tip 1: Dissolve a denture cleaning tablet or dishwasher tablet in hot water and leave it in the beaker or mug for 24 hours. You can repeat this process a few times if necessary. Never use anything abrasive like cream cleaners or scouring pads. These will damage the product, causing stains to build up even faster.
Tip 2: Add a splash of lemon juice to your mug or beaker and fill it with water that's just off the boil, around 90 to 95 degrees. Allow to stand for 24 hours. You can repeat this process a few times if necessary. Afterwards, gently remove the stains with a washing-up brush.

Yes, this is not a problem. When 'boiling hot' food (100°C) is removed from the pan and put straight onto a plate, it will cool to between 60 and 80°C in just a few seconds. The standard of 70°C is the temperature at which a potential risk arises, but only when the product is subjected to prolonged heat (for longer than two hours). It's safe to use melamine products with food at a higher temperature as long as this is for less than two hours.
However, in practice, your food will never stay hot for more than a few minutes, so you can continue to use your dinnerware safely. All our products are safe for both children and adults and comply with European legislation and regulations for consumer products that come into contact with food and drinks.
Yes, this is not a problem. The dinnerware can be exposed to temperatures above 70°C for up to two hours. The 'hot' wash on most dishwashers only briefly reaches high temperatures. The standard we comply with is based on this practical situation, so using this program will not damage your product. All our products are safe for both children and adults and comply with European legislation and regulations for consumer products that come into contact with food and drinks.
